With over 40 countries under her belt our founder, Stephanie Amann has years of experience backpacking. At the age of 19 she got her first taste of traveling outside of the US. She took a solo Euro-rail backpacking trip before studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. It was an experience that ignited her desire to understand and learn from every culture and country in the world. Everyone has a story and it became her mission to discover as many as she could. It is through this blog we will share her adventures, both past and present.
Stay tuned for daily life in Cuzco, Peru and backpacking through South America before smart phones — that’s right traveling with real maps and internet cafes! Followed by her more recent travels to Japan, New Zealand, and SE Asia – where she created Wyldaire! Taking a month to explore Tokyo before traversing the rest of Japan. Followed by the picturesque outdoor hikes and adventures of New Zealand and finally the killer food, beaches, and culture of Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. Not to mention her continued travels through Europe, Canada, and Mexico as well as new adventures yet to come!
